Nostalgic Book Fair

Who didn’t love the school book fair when we were kids?  This time, it’s books, beer and dogs.  Who could ask for anything more? When Beth Cairns (@bethonthebookshelf) brought us this opportunity we jumped on it!  She’s still finalizing the details, but here’s what we know.

• The event will take place at Spyglass Brewing (@spyglassbrewing) in Nashua, NH.
• There will be multiple bookstores represented, each with one or two different genres. (We got Romance, which is right in our wheelhouse!)
• A raffle supporting Tailgait Transport and Rescue.  Gift baskets including books, store gift cards, and bookish merchandise from each participating store will be raffled off and proceeds will be donated.
• Victoria Lavine, author of Any Trope But You, will be joining us for the entire event!

As you can imagine, this will be slightly different venue than an elementary school bookstore.  Have a beer, browse some books and bookish stuff, and support a very worthy cause.

Tailgait Transport and Rescue is a 501-(c)3 organization that provides a ride for dogs on death row at high-kill shelters up to NH, and into their kennel where they are loved and card for until they are adopted into their forever homes.  In the 2 years since its inception, Tailgait has transported and saved over 100 dogs.
